What We Stand For

Justice

We believe in equal rights for all people. The Palestinian people have the right to self-determination, freedom from occupation, and full equality under the law.

Solidarity

We stand alongside Palestinian communities — in Gaza, the West Bank, inside Israel, and in the diaspora — in their struggle for dignity and freedom.

Non-Violence

Oxford PSC is committed to peaceful, legal campaigning. We use education, advocacy, and community organising to build the movement for change.

End the Occupation

We campaign for an immediate end to Israel's illegal military occupation of Palestinian territory, in line with international law and UN resolutions.

Right of Return

We support the right of Palestinian refugees and their descendants to return to their homes and land, as guaranteed under international law.

BDS

We support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement — a non-violent strategy led by Palestinian civil society to pressure for compliance with international law.

How to Get Involved

Oxford PSC welcomes everyone — students, workers, residents — who wants to stand with Palestine. You don't need any experience or background. Whether you have an hour a month or much more, there's a role for you.

We hold regular meetings, join national marches, organise local actions, and run events including film screenings, talks, and stalls.

Our Committee

Oxford PSC is run by a volunteer committee, elected annually at our Annual General Meeting. The committee meets weekly to plan upcoming events, coordinate actions, and set the direction of the group.

Our committee structure includes a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. All other tasks — communications, outreach, events, social media and more — are carried out by dedicated volunteers from across Oxford.

Decisions are made collectively, and all members are welcome to attend open meetings and have their voice heard.

1

Chair

Leads meetings, represents Oxford PSC publicly and coordinates the work of the committee.

2

Secretary

Manages correspondence, keeps records and ensures the smooth running of the organisation.

3

Treasurer

Oversees finances, manages accounts and ensures funds are used effectively for the campaign.

4

Officers

All other tasks are carried out by Oxford PSC Officers — from social media and outreach to stewarding events and running stalls.
